Your information

Privacy, clearly explained.

This notice explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website or contact us about a project.

Last updated: 30 September 2026

1. Who we are

Zane Space is the trading name of Charles Nunn, a sole trader responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

For privacy questions or requests, email hello@zanespace.com.

2. Information we collect

When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if provided, and the information or attachments you choose to send. This may include business details and information about a proposed project.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as IP addresses and website request data to deliver and protect the website.

Please only send information relevant to your enquiry. You do not need to provide sensitive personal information.

3. How and why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond, understand your requirements and discuss possible work.

Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we process information as necessary for those steps. For other correspondence, including enquiries on behalf of a business, we rely on our legitimate interest in managing and responding to business enquiries.

We also have a legitimate interest in keeping our website available, secure and working correctly. Where information must be retained or disclosed by law, we rely on the relevant legal obligation.

Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without sufficient contact details. Emailing us does not subscribe you to marketing.

4. Services we use

We use Google Workspace for business email and document storage, and Cloudflare to host and deliver this website. These providers process information as needed to supply their services.

The website also loads fonts from Google Fonts. To deliver these fonts, your browser connects to Google's servers, sharing technical information including your IP address.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose relevant information where legally required or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

You can read more in Google's privacy policy and Cloudflare's privacy policy.

5. International processing

Our service providers operate internationally, so personal information may be processed outside the UK. Where required, transfers are supported by recognised adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses with UK provisions.

Contact us if you would like details of the safeguards relevant to your information or how to obtain a copy.

6. How long we keep information

If an enquiry does not lead to client work, we delete the enquiry emails and associated attachments 12 months after the last meaningful contact.

If information is needed for a legal obligation or an ongoing dispute, we may retain the relevant records for longer, limited to what is necessary for that purpose.

If you become a client, we will provide information about the additional records and retention arrangements relevant to that work.

Technical information is retained according to the operational and security needs of the services involved, including troubleshooting and investigating abuse, and the applicable provider retention arrangements.

7. Cookies and tracking

We do not currently use advertising trackers or visitor analytics tools on this website.

If we introduce tools that change how visitor information is collected or used, we will update this notice and provide any choices required before those tools operate.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use, or receive certain information in a portable format. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.

Your right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation.

To make a request, email hello@zanespace.com. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.

9. Questions or complaints

Please contact us if you have concerns about how we handle your information. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator.

Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
